For 4 years worked as a research officer in the project titled “Influence of yoga therapy in immune modulation and outcome in Rheumatoid Arthritis” in the department of Clinical Immunology, at MS Ramaiah Medical Teaching Hospital, Bangalore. Funded by CCRYN, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India.
The various research projects undertaken in this position are:
- Presently working as a research officer in the project titled “Evaluation of yoga therapy in modulating DNA repair in Breast Cancer patients undergoing radiation”. Funded by CCRYN, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India.
Research Assistant in NIH NCCAM Sponsored project “ Mechanisms of Action of yoga intervention studies” in collaboration with Osher Centerfor Integrative Medicine, UCSF school of medicine, Sanfrancisco.
